dedicated to the memory of Teddy Huch
Do you know someone who is lonely and is
a shut-in at home
under hospice care
disabled
in a nursing home?
What we do:
visit shut-ins and hospice patients, listen to them, do light housekeeping
write letters to patients in nursing homes
feed the homeless
do errands for disabled clients
We partner with a hospice organization to visit people in hospice care. We visit disabled people and can help with errands. We provide a meal twice a month for members of a homeless shelter. We bring some joy to folks in nursing homes with our letters or postcards.
If the need is urgent, we are available.
And we are looking to do more. Please join us and bring your ideas on how to help the community.
Contact us at compassionministrysv@gmail.com (that's Compassion Ministry SV at gmail.com) if you would like to help or if you know someone who needs a visit or our services.
